The first few weeks of EDF 6447 were challenging, with mountains of required reading on topics like flexible learning, Vygotsky, and Gagne. Forming an online group and completing a challenge without meeting face-to-face added difficulty. While the first assignment had ups and downs, learning about Web 2.0, communication, collaboration and content design made the course more enjoyable. Working on the second assignment, the possibilities of alternative teaching through virtual worlds seem fascinating. The journey of the course has opened the student's mind to new ways of engaging and creative with students using technology.
