Curriculum

Definition blog/weblog:
 a web page
    containing brief,
    chronologically
    arranged items of
    information. A blog can
    take the form of a
    diary, journal, what’s
    new page, or links to
    other web sites.
 Peter Scott, Internet
    Librarian 2001
Who can use a weblog?
 Weblogs could be used by everyone. A
weblog is useful to teachers because it
gives them a place to post up all the

that way if ever a student is absent that
student can go online and find their
 missing work.
Who can use a weblog?

 Weblogs are also useful to parents so that
the parent can see what their child is
learning about in class. Weblogs are also
 convenient for online meetings between
the parent and teacher especially for
 working parents.
What is a Weblog?
A weblog is, literally, a "log" of the web - a
diary-style site, in which the author (a
"blogger") links to other web pages he or
she finds interesting using entries posted in
  reverse chronological order.
