This document discusses the supply, commissioning, and testing of a 3000 kW turbine for a concentrated solar power plant owned by Atria Power Corporation. The turbine runs on solar energy and generates 3000 kW of power at 415 V and 50 Hz to feed into the local grid. It is an extraction-cum-condensing turbine with a turbine inlet pressure of 34 bar(g) and temperature of 350 degrees C. Using the turbine is expected to generate annual savings of $1.8 million and pay for itself within one year, while also providing environmental benefits like reduced carbon emissions.
