This piece of information helps my argument because it tells me that Carnegie is a very good at what
he does if he is a pioneer of Vertical Integration than he is very smart and knows how to get what he
strives and works hard for which is a big accomplishment in the business world. Another piece of
evidence that supports my second heroic trait is when, in Document E, a note at the bottom of the
graph says, By 1900 Carnegie mills were producing about one third of all US steel. This shows me
that if he produces ⅓ of all US steel, then he is giving so many jobs to Americans for producing this
steel which is a great pro for the community.
Some people may say Andrew Carnegie was not a hero due to his favoritism to Scottish and people
from Pittsburgh by giving them gifts but Andrew Carnegie has given $350,000,000 to charities that
benefit his community around him. I believe that someone like Andrew Carnegie who has courage,
who is self made, and has concern for others, meet all the requirements, in my opinion, of being a true
