Stakeholders Better Learning in Practice
Workplace learning
 Insufficient direction of workplace learing by the vocational
training institutes (Algemene Rekenkamer, 2008)
 Lack of balance and organisation by the different
stakeholders (Poortman & Visser, 2009)
 (too) Little attention for the learning process itself. Students
are not capable and willing enough to learn (Poortman,
2007).
 The learning effiency could profit of more attention to
personal learning goals during internship (Poortman,
2007).

  • 2. Project Better Learning in Practice Design Intervention Research Evaluation •Goal is to optimize workplace learning during internship for VET students •Practice-oriented •Design-based research • 4 years funding from the Dutch ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW).
  • 4. Workplace learning  Insufficient direction of workplace learing by the vocational training institutes (Algemene Rekenkamer, 2008)  Lack of balance and organisation by the different stakeholders (Poortman & Visser, 2009)  (too) Little attention for the learning process itself. Students are not capable and willing enough to learn (Poortman, 2007).  The learning effiency could profit of more attention to personal learning goals during internship (Poortman, 2007).
