PERSONAL INFORMATION
Biography  My name is Elias Espino, I was born in 1985 in Ixmiquilpan, but I grew upin Nequeteje, a small village.  At the age of 5 I was supposed to attend kindergarten, however I didn’t, so when I was 6 years I attendedelementary school. After finishing high school (preparatoria), I moved to Pachuca to study English at the University. Finally when I completed my studies at UAEH I started to look for a job, I sent my CV to several schools to look for a job. One day, when I was checking my e-mail, I realized that I had a message from a university!  I wasexcited to get my first job! Now I work as an English teacher and a translator.

THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE Last Saturday was the first day of my holiday. I jumped out of bed feeling really happy and quickly I got ready to leave for the airport. 	When I got  into the lift it made a strange sound and stopped suddenly, I couldn’t believe it! I cried for help and heard a woman’s voice outside “There’s no electricity” she said. 	I waited and waited and eventually someone came  but it took them a long time to rescue me. 	I went back to my flat and sat on the sofa feeling really miserable
When I was 16 I learned to drive. I passed everything and was told by my dad that I couldn't drive until I was/were 18.  When I turned 18 I was the designated "go for" driver. First day at school What I remember of my first day at the university is that I was so nervous because everything wasnew. I knewno one. The first person who I talkedto was a boy called David. He was a little bit shy but kind.  He was not talkative,  and he wasn’t very sociable. My English  teacher wasn’t Mexican, she wasAmerican.
THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE “The best day of my life wasthe day I delivered my baby.  I waited nine months to see her! When I saw my baby for the first time she was so little and beautiful.  I was so happy that I cried when I saw her. It was the best day of my life!”  -Ana

  • 2. Biography My name is Elias Espino, I was born in 1985 in Ixmiquilpan, but I grew upin Nequeteje, a small village. At the age of 5 I was supposed to attend kindergarten, however I didn’t, so when I was 6 years I attendedelementary school. After finishing high school (preparatoria), I moved to Pachuca to study English at the University. Finally when I completed my studies at UAEH I started to look for a job, I sent my CV to several schools to look for a job. One day, when I was checking my e-mail, I realized that I had a message from a university! I wasexcited to get my first job! Now I work as an English teacher and a translator.
