Why E-Learning? Technology is continuously changing and organizations are introducing new technologies and new processes to improve productivity, profitability to stay competitive in the market.  There is a need for a major paradigm shift in Education sector which would not happen with small incremental and unrelated changes here and there . We need to supplement the traditional systems of education with innovative and flexible systems using current Technology, capable of providing quality education to large target group of learners to suit their requirements and expectations

Tools Used for Content Creation Free and powerful tools are available for creating and administering an e-learning web site. Google Sites is a free and easy way to create and share web pages. Google Docs is a free and easy way to create documents, spread sheets and presentations online. Google Analytics provides web usage data in the form of visual charts and tables which helps to understand user behavior and needs.
Guest Book to collect User Feedback A guest book has been created in the web site for getting user feed back. It uses a form to collect comments & feed back from users. Google Docs allows data captured from this form to be stored in a spreadsheet which can be published in the website. The following slides show the guest book form and the guest book entry report

E-Learning 2.0 The term e-Learning 2.0 is used to refer to new ways of thinking about e-learning inspired by the emergence of Web 2.0. From an e-Learning 2.0 perspective, conventional elearning systems were based on instructional packets that were delivered to students using Internet technologies.

Benefits of e-Learning  Higher Retention  Online learning will draw you to topics you like and enjoy. Studies show that because of this and the variety of delivery methods used to reach different types of learners, retention is frequently better than in a traditional classroom.  Greater Collaboration  Technology tools make collaboration among students much easier. Since many projects involve collaborative learning, the online environment is far easier (and often more comfortable) to work in since learners don't have to be face-to-face.  Global Opportunities  The global learning community is at your fingertips with online learning. The technologies used give online instructional designers the ability to build in tools that take you to resources you may never see in a traditional classroom.

Tools Used for Content Creation Free and powerful tools are available for creating and administering an e-learning web site. Google Sites is a free and easy way to create and share web pages. Google Docs is a free and easy way to create documents, spread sheets and presentations online. Google Analytics provides web usage data in the form of visual charts and tables which helps to understand user behavior and needs.
