E-pathshala is an educational platform developed by NCERT and the Ministry of Education of India, providing access to digital resources such as textbooks, audio, and video content. Launched in November 2015, it offers a variety of multilingual resources easily accessible across devices, and includes features like e-comic books and interactive material. With over 4.5 million app downloads, E-pathshala aims to enhance learning outcomes and supports students, teachers, and parents with a wealth of educational content.

2. WHAT IS E-PATHSHALA?
E- Pathshala is a website and
mobile app that provides access to
educational resources, including
textbooks, audio, video, and
periodicals.
The platform was developed by the
National Council of Educational
Research and Training (NCERT) in
collaboration with the Ministry of

Government of India.
It was launched in November 2015.

8. ACCESS TO E-RESOURCES
For accessing the e-resources on a computer or laptop
follow the steps stated below:
1. Open the web browser Firefox, Chrome etc.
2. Go to the e-Pathshala website (https://epathshala.nic.in)
3. Click on the box with ‘access e-resources’
4. Type the alphanumeric code given under the QR Code
5. Search for the e-resources from the links
that have appeared.

9. FEATURES ON E-PATHSHALA
 The most important thing about e-pathshala is that it gives
access to all the NCERT books through the portal.
 The e-Pathshala app has features such as Pinch, Select, Zoom,
Bookmark, Highlight, Navigate, Share, and Make notes digitally.
 It gives access to different schemes related to studies like siksha,
sathee, nishtha on diksha.
 eBooks can be accessed through multiple technology platform
that is mobile phones and tablets (as epub) and from the web
portal through laptops and desktops (as Flipbook).
