The State Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) in Kerala is responsible for planning, researching, producing, and evaluating digital educational content like videos, audio programs, and software. SIET Kerala aims to implement teaching technology schemes and modernize the learning process. It was sanctioned in 1998 by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development to utilize educational technology in Kerala schools.

4. AIMS OF S I E T
1. More importans given to the product of E T V programmes
for the children in the age group of 5 – 8 and 9 – 11 years.
2. The State Council Of Education Research and Training
(SCERT) are mainly expected to implement the educational
technology projects utilizing all kinds of modern media
methods and materials.

 Broadcast the audio and video programmes through tv/radio.
 Prepare e-content in regional language.
 It playing an important role in promoting quality education to
the of children primary school.
 Conduct research and evaluate new media educational

in 1000 higher secondary schools, 2500 high
schools,3200 primary schools in kerala.
 Successfully implemented a full fledged e-
learning project in 6800 schools in Kerala.

state with a intention to promote the learning
among students.
 Though various challenges was faced by the
project, it has conducted various programmes
through official government channels such as
