I. INTRODUCTION
The Disaster Risk Reduction Management Unit is generally implemented Department of Education for
the safety of the learners and school personnel. And also strengthening the management system in risk
management, providing practice the climate change adaptation in school, ensure emergency response by
replacing critical vulnerabilities and prepared management program in times of disaster.
II. GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Guided by the Mission of DepEd Quezon, this operational plan aims to attain the following objectives:
 To protect learners and school personnel safety, environment awareness, educational continuity.
 To increase resilience and achieve substantial reduction of disaster risk in order to fulfill the strategic
goals of DepEd Quezon.
