I. INTRODUCTION
The Disaster Risk Reduction Management Unit is generally implemented by the
Department of Education for the safety of the learners and school personnel. And also
strengthening the management system in risk management, providing practice the climate
change adaptation in school, ensure emergency response by replacing critical vulnerabilities
and prepared management program in times of disaster.
II. GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Guided by the Mission of DepEd Rizal, this operational plan aims to attain the
following objectives:
 To protect learners and school personnel safety, environment awareness, educational
continuity.
 To increase resilience and achieve substantial reduction of disaster risk in order to fulfill
the strategic goals of DepEd Quezon.

III. PRODUCTION
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Urges The conduct Quarterly
Nationwide Simultaneous Drill (NSED 2025) . In which the main purpose is To ensure the
safety of parents, students, teachers and staff during and after a damaging earthquake; To
help school administrators and their disaster action groups to design a specific response plan
of the school for earthquakes; To train teachers, school staff and students on how to practice
proper action and response during earthquakes; and To test various elements of the response
plan designed by the School Disaster Management Committee (SDMC)and promote earthquake
preparedness towards community resilience while observing public health precautionary
measures. The activity was successfully done through the collaborative efforts of all Teachers
and Staff, pupils and thru the guidance and leadership of our School Head Mrs.Madonna C.

III. PRODUCTION
I. RATIONALE:
Disasters often follow natural hazards. Damages caused by natural hazards like
earthquakes, floods and droughts can have great impact to vulnerable people and
properties. In response, the government developed a plan to these destructive forces – the
National DRRM ( Disaster Risk Reduction Management )which aims to prepare the people and
the community and to reduce its effect.
In support to this, Catmon Elementary School is making significant contribution, educating
their pupils to minimize their risk of danger.
II. OBJECTIVE/S:
The objective of the project is to provide knowledge and information necessary for pupils
to follow in case any of these natural hazards occur
