- Example mid-season application of N (urea). Becoming more common to apply N to corn in split applications with an application at Mid-season (V6-V10) to late-season (V10-R). Reduces risk of N loss from the applied N.
- Lets look at what the NL5000 G5 is doing, still providing the same high output, wide spread and faster applications as the previous G4, but now add sectional control and you have the most precise broadcast spreader available. Going through the field, based on previous applied areas we are shifting the spinner assembly fore and aft, and left and right to control the swath, while at the same time the conveyor will increase or decrease in speed to maintain the correct application rate. We are essentially altering, where the product falls onto the spinners to adjust the pattern while moving through the field. When going through the field the spinner assembly shifts right, and will spread to the left. And vice-versa, when the spinner assembly shifts left, it will spread to the right.
