3. Pull Quote
 A pull quote is a quote taken from an article and made bigger to stand out.

4. Stand first
 An introductory paragraph in an article
 Larger text than rest of article / in bold or capitals
 Summarises the article

5. Columns
 Usually 4 columns across the page
 Separate the information

6. Main image
 May take up a whole page
 Relevant to magazine
 Striking and main focus
 Lighting relevant to image

7. Background
 Background is plain to not draw attention away from the text
 Sometimes the background may be an image

8. Colour & font
 There are limited colours used on the page
 Doesn't draw attention from the article
 The font is usually a simple font to not distract the reader and so the article is easy
to read
