The teacher will ask the student to execute the  Physical Fitness Test Daily routine  Get the HR (before & after)  HR Log:  Activity Notebook  Warm-Up: Dynamic stretching Exercises (10 min.) The teacher will give the student 10 minutes to read and discus among themselves the topic on the  Principles of Fitness Training  FITT Principles The teacher will instruct them create an exercise program. Example will be provided through PPT (5 min.) C. Presenting examples/instances of the lesson The teacher will show images of different activities and ask the students the following question.  Which of the habits do you frequently do?  Which of the habits do you want to be? Why? (5 min.) The teacher will administer Physical Fitness Test by Group depends on the number of the students (20 min) The teacher will let students present the topic assigned to them The student will answer the following:  How do you design a fitness program?  What are the things to consider in designing fitness program?  Discuss pointers in making/designing exercise program: *goal/aim *MHR & THR *Principles of Training *Training session D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills The teacher discusses the following through PPT and Examples  Physical Fitness  Physical Fitness Components  Health-Related Fitness  Skill-Related Fitness The teacher discusses the following through PPT  Physical Fitness Test  Components being measured (Note: After the discussion, teacher must give feedback on the report/discussion to correct misconception and provide meaningful information) The teacher will let them create their fitness plan considering their weaknesses. Developing mastery (lead to formative assessment 3) Individual Activity: The teacher will provide a video documentary on the need for physical activities, physical fitness and importance of developing one’s health and sport- related fitness components. The student will be asked the following questions:  Anyone who is good at sports is said to be physically fit. Agree or Disagree.  How do health-related components differ from skill-related components of fitness?  How do these fitness components connect to our ability to perform our daily tasks or activities?  Why prepare the body for physical activities? (15 min.) Individual Activity: The learner will set their goals based on their individual PFT results.  Choose three components that you consider as your weakness.  Follow the chart below: Component Goal Activities to do to achieve goals 1. 2. 3. . In summary, they will write what they have discovered regarding their own fitness. (5 min,) Individual Activity: The student will cite benefits of engaging to regular physical fitness activities. (5 min.) Individual Activity: The student will give their thoughts and opinion about  Activity you do each day which you think may help you develop FITT? (5 min.) Individual Activity: The students realize the importance of having an exercise program and its benefits. (5 min.)
