Activity 2 for GROUP 2: Pick and Match
Flash cards of the components of health-related
fitness and skill-related fitness will be shown or
posted in the board. The teacher will let the students
pick a choice and match it in the two (2) main
components of physical fitness shown in the diagram
posted earlier.
The teacher will ask questions about
the activity.

the learners recall their previous

• Health- is a state of complete physical,
mental and social well-being and not
merely the absence of disease or
infirmity. The enjoyment of the highest
attainable standard of health is one of the
fundamental rights of every human being
without distinction of race, religion,
political belief, economic or social
condition.

mental/intellectual, emotional, social, moral-spiritual and

At the end of the lesson, learners are expected to:

importance and benefits of health habits for healthy life
S: Show how the different dimensions interlinked with each
other
A: Realize that each dimension and the individual’s interest in
practicing healthy habits contribute to one’s sense of wellness or
quality of life.

(5) groups to accomplish the
activity within 5 minutes.
• Each group will be given a picture
to be explained in front of the
class by the selected group
reporter.
