2.  Multiplication and Division are inverse
operations.
 That means that they are related and are
almost opposite.
 When you multiply you build something up:
3 x 6 = 18
 When you divide you break something down:
18 ÷ 6 = 3 (you could also do 18 ÷ 3 = 6)

multiplication and division facts for a set of
number.
 This is a fact family for 2, 3, and 6;
 2 x 6 = 6 6 ÷ 2 = 3
 3 x 2 = 6 6 ÷ 3 = 2
