Overview
A Fortune 100 Financial Services Firm – Specializing in Fixed Annuities is seeking a
Director, Fixed Annuity Product Management. This role will drive the product
development and management of the Fixed Annuities product line with a focus on
developing a product suite that meets consumer needs, is consistent with external
markets, suitable for our distribution channels and adds value to the company. This
position will report into the Head of Annuity Product Development & Management.
Responsibilities
Ownership for bringing products through the product development process, from
ideation & focus group research, to business specification, platform specifications,
business planning, development and roll out.

Effectively steer cross-functional resources in a collaborative way to meet business
objectives.

Engage with outside distributors to gain shelf space for our products and drive
business development.
•
As Fixed Annuities product line head, educate and train our sales specialists about
new product ideas and sales concepts.
•
Prepare written summaries for executive management covering new product ideas,
project status updates and developments within the fixed annuity marketplace.

Requirements
5+ years experience with annuity products.•
Excellent communicator who is able to express ideas in writing and orally in an
eloquent and engaging manner.

Deep understanding of annuity product design, product positioning and distribution
markets.
•
Proven ability to lead effective meetings.•
Experience managing staff.•
Knowledge of annuity business economics a plus.•
Demonstrates high energy and a passion for work.•
