This document discusses the digital transformation of an HR function at a global organization with 32,000 employees across 90 countries. It describes how the organization underwent several waves of HR system consolidation, outsourcing, and process optimization over 17 years in an attempt to improve efficiency. However, these efforts did not fully address issues like data quality problems, inflexible costs, and manual workarounds. The organization then launched an initiative to digitize HR processes like recruitment and expense management. This reduced recruitment times from 143 to 14 days and transitioned expense processes from manual multi-format documentation to automated single-format workflows. The document emphasizes that digital transformations will vary between organizations and require understanding processes, technology, and leadership commitment to change.

A Guide for Entry-Level Tech Jobs with Web Development
The dread of starting from scratch in a junior position is highly on the list of worries for many career transitions. The fact that the phrase “entry-level” is frequently used in conjunction with other, less positive adjectives like “low-skilled” or “low-paid” doesn’t help.
On the other hand, you may have read that it’s tough to get into the tech business and that even entry-level tech jobs demand years of prior experience or a relevant college degree. Simply put, an entry-level position in technology serves as a point of entrance into the field and a doorway to a lengthy and fruitful professional path.
You’ll start out getting to enjoy all the perks of working in technology: flexible scheduling.
We’ll go over the best entry-level IT jobs you can acquire without any experience in this blog post, along with the soft skills employers are looking for.
In order to stand out in the competitive job market of today, we’ll wrap up with some useful suggestions on how to get your first entry-level IT job.
What Are The Top Entry-Level IT Positions That Don’t Require Experience?
Now let’s go into the best entry-level IT positions. The average pay is sourced from Glass door.
One of the most popular IT jobs for career changers is UX designer. Why? Because it crosses so many other disciplines, including as corporate strategy and UI design and Contrary to the perception of many other digital professionals, having a diversified experience (and transferable abilities) is viewed as a strength rather than a weakness in UX design.
UX design is fundamentally the process of creating a digital product’s functionality, usability, and overall experience. To ascertain their demands, user experience (UX) designers will carry out user research and develop user personas. Working with the UI, they will also develop user flows and wireframes.
A Cyber security Expert
Cyber security is the process of defending software and data from online dangers, such as data breaches and cyber-attacks. Analyzing security risks and vulnerabilities, inspecting a company’s security systems, and looking into IT security trends are some of the duties that a cyber-security specialist may be responsible for. However, it’s crucial to keep in mind that cyber security is a large sector that includes a number of entry-level jobs with a greater focus.
• Penetration testers, who’ll (ethically) hack their company’s security systems to identify potential areas of weakness.
• Security auditors, who’ll run ongoing audits to ensure a company’s security systems, remain compliant.
• Information security analysts, who’ll develop cyber security strategies, and monitor networks for ongoing protection against cybercrime,.
Demand for cyber security experts who can safeguard digital assets is growing as more businesses migrate their operations online and into the cloud. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that during the next ten years.
The document discusses Concurrency, a company that helps clients leverage technology to fulfill strategies and improve business. Businesses are increasingly relying on remote work and technologies like voice over IP to replace
traditional office roles like receptionists. This allows companies to reduce costs while improving customer
service. Organizations are also collecting huge amounts of data that is doubling every 18 months,
increasing demand for skilled data analysts. As a result, the changing business environment is leading
companies to outsource more work and use freelancers, reducing the need for internal managers while
allowing knowledge workers more autonomy. When implementing new technologies, companies must
consider employee skills, provide training, plan for turnover, and ensure the technology can scale and
adapt to remain effective.

Abhishek Rungta Workshop Digital Innovation - A Practical Guide For BusinessesIndus Net Technologies
Digital innovation is failing to provide desired results for many firms despite significant investments. While 40% of companies surveyed spent money acquiring digital startups and setting up Digital Units (DUs), only 10% of companies generated over 5% of revenue from their DUs. Fewer than 8% of companies with DUs were able to successfully scale their digital ideas into launched products. Common reasons for this failure include DUs operating in silos and struggling to connect with legacy businesses, as well as difficulties scaling innovation projects within core business and IT units. The document provides recommendations for establishing an effective DU structure and approach to promote successful digital innovation.

The H1B visa program was more lucrative in the 1990s, allowing foreign graduates salaries 10x higher than in their home countries. Now the salary multiple is around 4x, and the process is longer and less appealing. Many top graduates now have better career options domestically or elsewhere. While the US issues around 65,000 H1B visas annually, India only produces around 15,000 top graduates eligible for them, and around 30,000 total. This creates oversubscription from countries like India, China, and the Philippines. The goals of the H1B program have changed from 1990, and it now depletes talent from other countries. Reducing total applications to around 100,000 by categorizing them could better

Global Situational Awareness of A.I. and where its headedvikram sood
You can see the future first in San Francisco.
Over the past year, the talk of the town has shifted from $10 billion compute clusters to $100 billion clusters to trillion-dollar clusters. Every six months another zero is added to the boardroom plans. Behind the scenes, there’s a fierce scramble to secure every power contract still available for the rest of the decade, every voltage transformer that can possibly be procured. American big business is gearing up to pour trillions of dollars into a long-unseen mobilization of American industrial might. By the end of the decade, American electricity production will have grown tens of percent; from the shale fields of Pennsylvania to the solar farms of Nevada, hundreds of millions of GPUs will hum.
The AGI race has begun. We are building machines that can think and reason. By 2025/26, these machines will outpace college graduates. By the end of the decade, they will be smarter than you or I; we will have superintelligence, in the true sense of the word. Along the way, national security forces not seen in half a century will be un-leashed, and before long, The Project will be on. If we’re lucky, we’ll be in an all-out race with the CCP; if we’re unlucky, an all-out war.
Everyone is now talking about AI, but few have the faintest glimmer of what is about to hit them. Nvidia analysts still think 2024 might be close to the peak. Mainstream pundits are stuck on the wilful blindness of “it’s just predicting the next word”. They see only hype and business-as-usual; at most they entertain another internet-scale technological change.
Before long, the world will wake up. But right now, there are perhaps a few hundred people, most of them in San Francisco and the AI labs, that have situational awareness. Through whatever peculiar forces of fate, I have found myself amongst them. A few years ago, these people were derided as crazy—but they trusted the trendlines, which allowed them to correctly predict the AI advances of the past few years. Whether these people are also right about the next few years remains to be seen. But these are very smart people—the smartest people I have ever met—and they are the ones building this technology. Perhaps they will be an odd footnote in history, or perhaps they will go down in history like Szilard and Oppenheimer and Teller. If they are seeing the future even close to correctly, we are in for a wild ride.
Let me tell you what we see.

3. Technologyat workplace:Digital Transformations
Digital transformation technologies:
Industry, organizations and businesses are changing rapidly and nature of change is
transformational. Information has become the “key” for success in job and accessibility to it at
employee’s will is paramount. Automation has resulted into well managed and highly controlled
processes at workplace. “Want for technology use” in employees is something that corporations had
never experienced before and lot of “IT or process transformations” are now internal-driven.
Advances in technologies such as computing, electronics, data management, automated
processes, analytics, anytime-anywhere access to workplace resources and inter-or-intra office
collaboration and technologies effective use in workplace has created highly efficient workplace for
“performing employee” of today. Following diagram maps prevalent digital technologies in use at
today’senterprise onachart that showsrelative technology-use sophistication of a company on y-axis
and increasing complexity of technology itself on x-axis. (Companies which use most of these digital
technologiesandsolutionsor have supportforthese technologies in their solutions would rate high on
digital development scale.)
Service relationship levels through technology cycle of a “digital transformation”:
In today’sworldof competitivecorporationscompetingonbasis of speed, agility and quality, it
is very natural to see use of myriad of technologies for doing their work or for making employees and
research and development processes at workplace highly effective and efficient. However, with

It isnot easyto have or to developfullexpertise in-house thoughandhence comesthe need for
partnership or technology sourcing (in-sourcing, out-sourcing, auto-support/intelligence, self-
learning/self-support etc) arrangements. Relationship between expert source for “transformation
services”andcompanyimplementing digital solutions in-house goes through many phases. Following
diagram charts one very high level possible relationship “journey” of a partnership that is working its
way through a digital transformation project or sourcing expertise for its digital solution:

5. Workplace changes:
Workplace of today is very different workplace from work place of 1980ies or 1990ies.
Technologyuse atworkplace is notonlywelcomedbutalsoappreciated. There isa mix of “age-groups”
in workforce. You would see “Baby Boomers” from Pre-1965 time frame work along with Gen Z
employees, who were born in early 1990ies or later, in same kind of work, working with same kind of
tools, having similar skill-sets and using similar technology. Their learning curve and their learning
methods mightdifferthoughi.e.you might have to train “Pre-1965” employee in class room so that he
wouldstartuse of some workplace technologytoolsvs.someone fromGenZ who use some technology
in his person chores and would want access to same in office place (such as BYOD). Productivity
benchmarking, up-skilling and talent evaluation becomes difficult in such setups and has to be
generational aswell. Careerladderswouldneedtobe properlydefinedandstructured with the help of
human resource calibration experts in such workplaces.
Type of technology products employees have at their disposal are very different from office
productivity tools you had in early 1980ies. Back then use of computers in data management or
documentation management or use of email at workplace for inter-personal communication was
considered high end of “techno-savvy’ness”. These days there is lot more automation at workplace.
Processes are computerized. Average employee in good workplaces get access to 100’s of technology
products such as IT tools, data management tools and software, collaboration technologies,
communicationanddocumentationtools,remoteaccesstools.Insummary,here is awork place culture
“change” chart that highlights typical preferences, technology needs and wants of generational
employment at work place.
Conclusion: Many companies would bring in or implement newer digital technology solutions at
workplace andtheywould have touse third-parties for their transformation work as needed expertise
