Dialogue Erasmus+ KA2-Strategic Partnership ( 2016-1-TR01-KA201-034762 )- This project has been funded with support from the
European Commission through the Strategic Partnerships of the Erasmus+ programme. This publication reflects the views only of

Separating education and technology nowadays is not possible: they are two major
dynamics in the knowledge age that we live in. Techniques such as school trips, drama,
museum visits, and documentary film screenings are currently used in lessons.
However, these techniques are not enough to make them appealing to students. Thus, in
many countries, movies and technological devices are also used in the lessons. These tools
can be effectively used in such disciplines as history, psychology, philosophy, sociology,
biology, geography and many others. They will give a new approach to learning, teaching
and training activities.
DIALoguE project aims to convert suitable lesson topics into course material with films
that consist of scene, setting, costume, story and music features.
DIALoguEwantstobringnewapproachestothelessonsandcontributetothedevelopment
of a historical consciousness. We intend to develop a new tool that can be used in all
subjects at school, and we would like to contribute to the EU citizenship concept by
creating software that will be used for student films shot in regional and transnational
collaboration.
Project “DIALoguE” aims to:
• Produce a new tool for education technologies with international cooperation
• Generate an innovative approach in education
• Enhance effective learning in class
• Raise the awareness of outstanding teaching methods in history lessons
• Bring synergy and collaboration among partners
• Increase student attention, curiosity and participation in the lessons
• Make history lessons more attractive by taking advantage of technology
• Develop students’ critical, questioning and emphatic thinking abilities
• Enhance the students’ creativity and communication skills when shooting the films
• Involve students in history studies
Expected results of using the tool in the lessons:
• using technology in class
• raising teachers’ awareness about using new teaching methods
• providing continuity in teachers’ career development
• improving students’ approach to history lessons
• increasing student participation in the lessons
• providing effective learning in lessons, including history lessons
• developing students’ “learning to learn” skills
• raising awareness about fiction and historicity in the films
• raising awareness in common historical consciousness and establishing common
culture
• providing the necessary classroom environment for brainstorming that will let
students develop their critical thinking and quizzical attitudes and increase their
participation
