Customs Clearance processes
The Public Sector team has 2 fully U.S. licensed customs brokers and several members of the team are trained in other
customs areas, such as Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)
Contracting
The Public Sector team has 20+ active negations, dealing with the U.S. Government and local Public Sector entities
involving logistical support.
World Vision International, IOM, Dutch Embassy, VFS, NATO, Germany Defense, Paris Embassy, Elbit, TWI – Germany
FFV, US Embassy – Kenya, Chilean Air Force, US Embassy – Singapore.
Network and Operations Team
The Public Sector team has members with previous & current responsibilities that can provide assistance in working out
complex shipment movement scenarios.
Local and Regional Customer Managers
The Public Sector team has sales representatives covering each region of the globe which can assist local sales as well
Customer Solutions Team
We have a Regional Customer Solutions team that’s specialized in handling complex issues such as ITAR for the Public
Sector customers and are escalation points in support of local country customer service.

Disaster Response Team (DRT)
Disaster Response Team (DRT)
For the DRTs, we cooperate with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN
OCHA).
OCHA is responsible for mobilizing and coordinating humanitarian aid with national and international
partners. This organization calls on the DRT when disasters strike.
A Memorandum of Understanding, which is signed upon deployment, regulates the cooperation with
local government offices.
We currently have 3 Public Sector members on the DRT team with another 4 joining this year.
In the past the Public Sector team has worked with the US Military in sending supplies to disaster
areas such as the Philippines, Nepal and Indonesia to name a few.
The experience of our DRT team combined with the Public Sector team is a great asset to any local
Government and/or any organization that supports disaster relief.

routinely causes delays is customs clearance.
This is what separates DHL from the rest. We have experienced teams in every region that
specialize in working with customers and country customs officers in developing fast and
efficient customs clearance processes.
