How can we
connect
technology with
education to
make it more
efficient.
India has made progress in increasing the
attainment rate of primary education. In 2011,
Approximately 75% of the population, aged
between 7 and 10 years, was literate. India's
improved education system is often cited as one
of the main contributors to its economic
development. Much of the progress, especially
in higher education and scientific research, has
been credited to various public institutions.
While enrollment in higher education has
increased steadily over the past decade,
reaching a gross enrollment ratio of 24% in
2013, there still remains a significant distance
to catch up with tertiary education enrolment
levels of developed nations, a challenge that
will be necessary to overcome in order to
continue to reap a demographic dividend from
India's comparatively young population.
The 79.98% is the literacy rate of India. 3
4
What Did the
Ancient Indian
Education System
Look Like?
In the olden days, there was no
formal education in India. A father
passed on knowledge, primarily
related to his occupation, to his
child. Much later, two systems of
education emerged – Vedic and
Buddhist. The Vedic system
revolved around the Vedas,
Vedangas and Upanishads, while the
Buddhist system preached the
thoughts of the major Buddhist
schools. The language of education
was Sanskrit for the Vedic system
and Pali for the Buddhist system.
6
Problems of Education:
7
● Lack of funds
● Expensive higher education
● Neglect of Indian languages
● Mass illiteracy
● Wastage of resources
● Problems of primary education.
Despite our best efforts, our
educational development
still remains at a low level.
 Government failure in management.
No proper funding for government
schools
8
No proper study materials provided by
government for students of government
schools
High Rate of corruption in system
which leads to less resources.
Pictures of government schools interior.
9

10
 Students mentality.
Students of India never use any new
implementation properly. They always wants
old system of education.
Students wasting there times in
protesting for unwanted things.
11
Students of India always focus on
written work rather than practical.
They just misuse the things those are
provided them, like: destroying of
institutions properties, not attending any
activities.

14
 Teaching Techniques.
We are still using old version of
teaching in our country.
Teachers creates notes once then they repeat
those throughout there many years.
15
No real life examples are use while
teaching.
There no teacher-student bonding of
understanding.
Teacher just more focus on exams point
of views rather than real life uses.
Teaching those topics which are removed
from international courses, which leads to
increasing of studies pressures on students.
 Division of students into different types
of institution like: IITs, NITs, etc.
India is only the country where students are classified
in education levels like: IIT’s, NIT’s IIIT’s and private.
They are capable to give proper education at
government level but to save the investment and collect
high revenue they divide the education system in this
classes.
After this, major seats are wasted on castes reservations
and gender reservations.

 NEW Rules introduced in 2020:
1. Divides education into levels of learning.
21
The age group of 3-8 years will be
part of the foundation stage
The age group 8-11 years will be part
of the preparatory schooling.
The age group 11-14 years will be the
part of the middle school.
The age group 14-18 years will be the
part of the secondary level.
Dividing schooling into 5+3+3+4
 Adding and removing courses.
22
Adding practical subjects more than
theories.
Addition of computer skills from
primary education level.
Removal of old chapters and books
patterns.
Connecting toward the technology
with education for better
understanding of students and making
easy for teachers to explain.
23
 Adding Technology in classroom for teaching.
Presentation Title 24
Using of tabs for writing notes to save papers.
Papers should only use for exams.
Use robots for teaching. We are not
replacing Human teacher but helping
them.
Schools and collages must have there
websites. On that website they upload the
notes, results, important information’s,
daily class works and HomeWorks,
assignments, etc.
Taking attendance by using MDI
devices.
Smart Classroom systems
 Things which educational institutions should add.
Presentation Title 25
Proper computer labs with new
devices and update versions of OS.
Proper classroom with proper smart
board systems, to replace the
blackboard- chalk system.
Must use of science labs for practical.
Adding feedback sessions with
students and with teachers.
Providing proper training sessions for
teachers. Improving the teaching techniques.
Presentation Title 26
In India, CBSE conducts the exams, not for the
knowledge of students but they conduct the
exams to showcase there teachers knowledge.
Exams should conduct for just to check that, ‘
What student has learn throughout the year of
academic?’

*India is the only country which is using online platform first
time for education due to this pandemic.
Every country uses online platforms for there major works but
India uses this for just scrolling social media and for the search
of information. In our country, we are not having servers for
each every sector.
Do you know India is a country where we have just divided the
slots for different sectors in servers, which leads to high risk of
loss of data, high traffic on sites, crash down of the sites and
many more securities issue.
29
30
o Government should invest in development of government schools and other
sectors of educations.
o People should help the government by providing more ideas for development
of education system in our country.
o Teachers should find more practical examples while teaching and form best
teacher-student relation to understand the students and vise versa.
o Students should always ready to adapt new ways of education. As we are using
nowadays, online mode of education. While this mode many students disrespect
the teachers in many ways like: Use social media during classes, just login into
the class and after that they sleep or busy in their useless works. Students should
respect their teachers and always ready to learn which helps them to be a good
person and acquired more information of subjects.
o For teacher there should be a training session, so they also get friendly with the
new methods and technology of education.
o Students must follow there the rules and regulation which are provided by
institution.
 Real time use and misuse of technology by
students:
Presentation Title 31
Student from M.P. abuse his teacher while online classes.
After a few days they are caught by Indore police and
punished.
Students from Delhi, play inappropriate video while
online classes.
Student from Mumbai, misbehave during online classes.
•And we are having more cases like this.
32
33
It is endless topic but by showing you this data my motive is to tell you the real
conditions of Indian education system. Most of the things which is responsible for the
destruction is our mentality that is “We will never change!”. We have to change our
mentality and come up with new ideas for betterment of education system. “Country is
not powerful by having highest number of nuclear weapons rather than having huge number of
education people in the country.”
We use American Education System which is highly effective and lost investments.
Most of the families are not able to provide education to their children because of cost.
India education is one the highest profile business. They can provide the facilities in
low budget also but to generate high profit they use to imposed high fees amount.
We always blame that “Technology destroyed us!” but reality is that we are the one who
destroyed the purpose of technology. We should use that for getting knowledge not for
harming each other’s.
34
But according to the
Indian Education system
the quote will be,
“ Education is the
most powerful
bussness to earn as
much you create a
fear in the mind
of students.”
 OVERVIEW of topic.
We saw the history of the
education
35
Problems facing in education. New methods and rules for
education.

Education System.’

India's improved education system is often cited as one of the main contributors to its economic development. Much of the progress, especially in higher education and scientific research, has been credited to various public institutions. While enrollment in higher education has increased steadily over the past decade, reaching a gross enrollment ratio of 24% in 2013, there still remains a significant distance to catch up with tertiary education enrolment levels of developed nations, a challenge that will be necessary to overcome in order to continue to reap a demographic dividend from India's comparatively young population. The 79.98% is the literacy rate of India. 3

  • 33. 33 It is endless topic but by showing you this data my motive is to tell you the real conditions of Indian education system. Most of the things which is responsible for the destruction is our mentality that is “We will never change!”. We have to change our mentality and come up with new ideas for betterment of education system. “Country is not powerful by having highest number of nuclear weapons rather than having huge number of education people in the country.” We use American Education System which is highly effective and lost investments. Most of the families are not able to provide education to their children because of cost. India education is one the highest profile business. They can provide the facilities in low budget also but to generate high profit they use to imposed high fees amount. We always blame that “Technology destroyed us!” but reality is that we are the one who destroyed the purpose of technology. We should use that for getting knowledge not for harming each other’s.
