  • 5. Build long-term relationships based on performance instead of awarding business on the basis of price. USE A SINGLE SUPPLIER FOR ANY ONE ITEM 4
  • 6. Deming promoted the Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to process analysis and improvement. Continuously improve product, quality, and service 5
  • 7. Train for consistency to help reduce variation. USE TRAINING ON THE JOB 6
