2. School logo in the top left of the page to establish that the magazine is for and about the school. Deconstruction of the cover page I have chosen to place the title of the magazine at the top in a large font with a glow so that it stands out to the reader. The picture that I have decided to use shows Three students in front of the school with their lanyards so that it connects them to the school. The models that I have chosen are two boys and a girl so that it does not appear sexist. I placed the schools logo at the bottom of the page again to connect the magazine to the school. The subheadings that I have used both relate to the school and I placed a relevant picture between them. Below the schools logo there is “Winter term 2009” to inform the reader of when the magazine issue was released.
3. Deconstruction of the contents page The school logo again is in the top left corner of the page as a transition between pages. And will also create a connection between the school and the magazine. At the top of page I placed “Contents Page” so that the reader knows what is to be expected on the page as it is usually the firs place the reader will look. Down the left hand side of the page I have listed the different articles within the magazine so that the reader knows what will be featured in the magazine. I decided to place the names of articles down the left hand side of the page after looking at my research as It follows the usual conventions of magazines. Down the right and bottom of the page I have placed pictures relevant to the school and articles within the magazine. I decided this because after looking at my research I noticed that it follows the usual conventions of magazines.
