1. The document proposes a Wiener filter-based method to deblur noisy iris images in order to improve iris recognition accuracy. Blurry iris images can degrade recognition performance. 2. The proposed method is tested on iris images from the UBIRIS database. Results show it improves iris pattern quality in blurry images faster than other deblurring methods like Lucy-Richardson algorithm and blind deconvolution. 3.
