One hot day, an ant was searching for some
water. After walking around for some time, she
came to a spring. To reach the spring, she had
to climb up a blade of grass. While making her
way up, she slipped and fell into the water.
She could have drowned if a dove up a nearby
tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was
in trouble, the dove quickly plucked off a leaf
and dropped it into the water near the struggling
ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and
climbed up there. Soon it carried her safely to
dry ground. Just at that time, a hunter nearby
was throwing out his net towards the dove,
hoping to trap it.
Guessing what he was about to do, the ant
quickly bit him on the heel. Feeling the pain, the
hunter dropped his net. The dove was quick to
fly away to safety.
My Memorable New Year
On New Year’s eve 2016, my friends and I gathered
together to celebrate the new year!
Early on new years eve I woke up and went to the
mall to go shopping for a new dress to wear that
night. I found the dress that I wanted to wear and
then I headed home. When I got home, I started to
get ready to go out. by the time I was ready, my
friends arrived at my house. There were plenty of
treats for them. Once everyone was there, it was
time to head to the restaurant called Joe dogs
Restaurant. We ate food then danced for a while
and chatted with friends. Soon, it was time for the
countdown. Once the New Year came, everyone
hugged and laughed and sipped their champagne!
Soon the night was over and we all walked back to
my house. After a short time, everyone went home,
and I was finally able to go to sleep
New Year’s Eve, 2016 was a very exciting time! I
had a lot of fun with my friends!

Snow White
Orientation Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow
White. She lived with her Aunt and Uncle because her parents were dead.
Complication 1 One day she heard her Uncle and Aunt talking about leaving Snow White in
the castle because they both wanted to go to America and they didn’t
have enough money to take Snow White.
Resolution 1 Snow White did not want her Uncle and Aunt to do this so
she decided it would be best if she ran away. The next morning she ran
away from home when her Aunt and Uncle were having breakfast. She ran
away into the woods.
Complication 2 Then she saw this little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so
she went inside and fell asleep.
Resolution 2 Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from
work. They went inside. There they found Snow White sleeping. Then Snow
White woke up. She saw the dwarfs. The dwarfs said, “what is your
name?” Snow White said, “My name is Snow White.”
Doc, one of the dwarfs, said, “If you wish, you may live here with us.” Snow
White said, “Oh could I? Thank you.” Then Snow White told the dwarfs the
whole story and Snow White and the 7 dwarfs lived happily ever after.

Our trip to the Blue Mountain
On Friday we went to the Blue Mountains. We stayed at David and
Della’s house. It has a big garden with lots of colourful flowers and
a tennis court.
On Saturday we saw the Three Sisters and went on the scenic
railway. It was scary. Then, Mummy and I went shopping with Della.
We went to some antique shops and I tried on some old hats.
On Sunday we went on the Scenic Skyway and it rocked. We saw
cockatoos having a shower.
In the afternoon we went home.

The Lion & the Mouse
A Lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws. A timid little
Mouse came upon him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to get away, ran
across the Lion's nose. Roused from his nap, the Lion laid his huge paw angrily on
the tiny creature to kill her.
"Spare me!" begged the poor Mouse. "Please let me go and some day I will surely
repay you.“
The Lion was much amused to think that a Mouse could ever help him. But he was
generous and finally let the Mouse go.
Some days later, while stalking his prey in the forest, the Lion was caught in the toils
of a hunter's net. Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring.
The Mouse knew the voice and quickly found the Lion struggling in the net. Running
to one of the great ropes that bound him, she gnawed it until it parted, and soon the
Lion was free.

In a far away, long ago kingdom, Kryzza is living happily with her
mother and father until her mother dies. Kryzza's father remarries a
cold, cruel woman who has two daughters, Mae and Anny. When the
father dies, Kryzza's wicked stepmother turns her into a virtual servant
in her own house. Meanwhile, across town in the castle, the King
determines that his son, Prince Harold should find a suitable bride and
provide him with a required number of grandchildren. So the King
invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where
his son will be able to choose his bride. Kryzza has no suitable party
dress for a ball, but her friends the mice, led by Jaques and Gus, and
the birds lend a hand in making her one, a dress the evil stepsisters
immediately tear apart on the evening of the ball. At this point, enter
the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of
midnight, the glass slipper, and the rest, as they say, is fairy tale
history. Prince Harold and Kryzza lived happily ever after.

A Bomb in Plane
I am used to travelling by air but only on one occasion I felt frightened.
After taking foo, we flew low over the city. It slowly wen high to the sky.
But suddenly it turned round and flew back to the airport. An air-hostess
told us to keep calm and to get off the place quietly as soon as it landed.
After we landed, the police searched the plane carefully. Everybody on
board was worried and we grew curious about what was happening.
Later, we learned that there was a very important person on board.
Earlier, somebody told the police that there was a bomb on the plane.
Fortunately, they did not find a bomb and five hours later we were able to
take off again.

One hot summer's day a Fox was strolling through an
orchard till he came to a bunch of Grapes just ripening
on a vine which had been trained over a lofty branch.
"Just the thing to quench my thirst," quote he. Drawing
back a few paces, he took a run and a jump, and just
missed the bunch. Turning round again with a One,
Two, Three, he jumped up, but with no greater
success. Again and again he tried after the tempting
morsel, but at last had to give it up, and walked away
with his nose in the air, saying: "I am sure they are
sour."
