CAREER HISTORY
Samsung C & T TANK SUPERINTENDENT/SUPERVISOR - Sep 2014 -- Present
Part of the Principle Contractor project team building the Teesside Ethane Gas Import Terminal on the
River Tees. Project consisting of 77,000m3 cryogenic liquid ethane storage tank, balance of plant,
Jetty offloading, utilities area and associated pipeline (crossing under the River Tees estuary).
Participated in constructability reviews / progress meetings with a focus on optimization to minimize
execution man-hours. Supervised and mmanaged all construction stages of the Ethane tank from set
out, inner tank build, roof airlift, hydrotest , pipework and insulation through to handover and
commissioning within a tight schedule and a live plant location. All this carried out without incident or
schedule overrun.

Below is a brief overview of projects, responsibility for Supervising and managing activities

SABIC LDPE PLANT WILTON SITE
Supervised the main hyper compressor overhaul plus exchanger, vessel and pipework PVI
inspections in the purge gas area.
GROWHOW BILLINGHAM SITE
Responsible for all mechanical inspection, overhaul and piping work on the Benfield area
During the 5 week planned shutdown.
BP KINNIEL GRANGEMOUTH
Enhanced Gas separation project. (EGSP) Major upgrade of the Kinniel
Gas Facility. Controlled the removal and installation of the four new
Waste heat boilers and associated pipe work and PAU installation and hook up.
TGPP SEAL SANDS GAS PLANT
Construction of new gas processing plant. Facilitated the inspection of
Existing vessels tie ins and fitment of new vessels, exchangers, PAUs and pipe work.
CORYTON REFINERY
Alky (acid unit) Deopropaniser column upgrade and cone replacement
Project. Work involved column removal and all pipe work upgrades within the alkylation unit.
TOTAL LINDSAY OIL REFINERY
Supervision of planned work scope on the Reactor, VDU and Visbreaker units. Work scope Inc.
Heater and incinerator overhaul, frac column retray plus much defects
And pipework, lines and fittings modifications.
INEOS GRANGEMOUTH REFINERY
Execution of COD 2 Catcracker shutdown, work scope included vessel
Overhaul, pipe work mods and much bulk work.
PETROPLUS, NORTH TEES REFINERY
Crude unit, LPG and flare unit outage. Work scope to include HDS
Reactors, columns, drums, exchangers plus projects and much bulk
mechanical work.
CONOCO PHILIPS, HUMBERSIDE REFINERY
White oils unit. To include CHDS, GRP and Amines units. Work scope
Included. Reactors, columns, drums and exchanger inspections.
HUNTSMAN P.U., WILTON, TEESIDE
Project Vanguard included the installation of new reactors, steam drums
And compressors from initial line + level to commission phase and
Handover.

3. SABIC AROMATICS, NORTH TEES REFINERY
Shutdown of Aromatics 2 unit, Work scope included heaters, Columns
And drums inspection, exchanger, compressor and fin fan overhauls.
