With 30 years of Oilfield experience, I have lived in New Orleans, Malaysia, and now reside in Houston.
I have had rotational hitches in Nigeria and Angola, have lived two years family status in Malaysia, and
have traveled in deep Mexico. Developed expertise in domestic and international production and have
many contacts and long-standing relationships with people and companies in the global oil and gas

SAFE Chart for additional equipment.
Chevron Cabinda Tank Farm Modifications, Reviewed and revised SAFE Chart for
additional equipment.
VietSovPetro platform; New platform from FEED to final design. Specified all Fire protection
and Life Saving equipment, including helicopter crash box. Generated Equipment plan, and
EAC drawings in accordance with IEC-60079-10, IP15 and API RP505. Participated in
HAZOP(s). Generated SAFE Charts, reviewed and revised Master Panel which used
hydraulics and was PLC controlled. Reviewed Gas detection specifications, designed supports
for gas detectors, ESD Stations, Warning lights, Fire extinguisher stations. Contributed to SIL
level verifications.
ConocoPhillips Magnolia/Callon Petroleum Subsea Tie-back project. Generated and
integrated SAFE Charts for Subsea wells and incoming riser. Reviewed HPU equipment and
logic. Revised EAC and Platform layouts.

detectors, life saving equipment condition and inspection frequency.

Chevron Cabinda- Team leader for major platform de-bottleneck upgrade. At Angola for five
weeks on Takula / GS Mike platforms. Sized control valves, wrote specifications for level,
pressure, and temperature transmitters, revised platform layouts. Wrote operating procedures,
installation plans, decommissioning and startup procedures.

surveys for compliance to MMS and USCG regulations. Revised P&ID’s, SAFE Charts,

Titan PE, Malaysia – a Petrochemical Company
1997 to 1999
Project Engineer for a two year contract, family status. We enjoyed every minute.
Promoted to Engineering Manager, after the consolidation of 3 plants. Supervised the activity of
5 Engineers and 3 draftsmen.
Responsible for project design and to support plant activities.
Projects included:
 Reactor internal inlet dispersal upgrade.
 Replacement of critical process equipment during turnaround; Flare tip, Dryer and
numerous small, but important items.
 Fire Protection upgrades; connecting two Plant Fire Systems, improving LPG storage
sphere water coverage.
 Line replacement of piping, routine maintenance projects.
 Facilitated MOC and HAZOP meetings.
TEST (Total Engineering Services Team, Inc.); New Orleans, LA
1989 – 1997
Mechanical Engineer-
Taylor Energy MI 605 Platform-Designed utilities for new platform and some process work.
Re-designed NuTech pneumatic devices and designed PSR40 pilot.
Chevron Nigeria- I was assigned lead supervisor to International P&ID survey team. This 4
year project involved 26 facilities and 250 wellhead jackets. Work required 2 years of field
surveys, which were brought back to TEST Gretna for drafting into AutoCAD. After platform
process was documented, then recommendations for bringing platforms up to API RP 14C
standards were made.
