Outlook
•Promote the tool properly
•Create a factsheet about all contributions per year (visual inventory), link to website/annual report/country
factsheets
•Explore other facets with baselines statistics (disciplines, appearance of Working Groups, appearance of
events)
•Devise a communication strategy (with the NC’s) – feature contributions, check if events in the tool are
also on the website etc.
Use of the data
we have
•Improve the documentation (DL of the implementation project, will also contribute to harmonize the
use of the tool to some extent - !keep the variety!)
•Organize NC workshops around the tool (similar to the WG Chair exchange)
•Organize a reviewer meeting (JRC led) to discuss criteria
Improving the
workflow
•Tool is part of the STRAPL, link it to other points in the STRAPL
•Connection to SSHOC (Marketplace, tool as reservoir for Marketplace candidates)
•Solicit discussions about open issues around the tool (with the NCC: transnational contributions,
temporality of contributions, with JRC/NCC/SMT/SB: national services which have a potential to be
taken up as models for DARIAH.EU (example: Fachinformation Philosophy as DARIAH.DE, or
which services to profile as DARIAH.EU services (and having SLA’s with hosting institutions)? how
important is the financial aspect?
•Link to other registries (existing: Course registry, envisioned: publications, projects)
