This paper presents a method for speed control of permanent magnet brushless DC motors (PMBLDC) utilizing PWM control and a PI controller for effective torque suppression and high precision across a speed range. It details the motor's construction, control techniques including both sensor-based and sensorless methods, and includes simulation results demonstrating the system's reliability in maintaining desired speeds. The findings show reduced speed oscillations and provide a foundation for implementing PMBLDC drives in various applications.
