This study experimentally investigates the effect of hybridizing jute and glass fibers on the mechanical properties of polyester composites. Jute fiber reinforced polyester composites (JFRPC), glass fiber reinforced polyester composites (GFRPC), and various hybrid fiber reinforced polyester composites (HFRPC) were fabricated and tested. Tensile and flexural testing showed that HFRPC exhibited higher strength properties than JFRPC or GFRPC alone, due to the combined properties of both natural jute and synthetic glass fibers.
