The job of a social worker is not confined to one geographical area. As a social
worker, one could possibly visit several different neighborhoods in a single week.
Because of the vast variety of clients that a social worker may encounter, cultural
competency and sensitivity is an important concept in this field of work. According
to Garthwait (2016), a social worker must be capable of recognizing, respecting, and
accommodating differences while treating all clients with fairness and equality under

An obese 41 year old woman was admitted to Rasool Akram Hospital presenting
with a headache, blurred vision, anxiety, and mental depression. She had been treated
with acetazolamide for the management of papilledema, which was unsuccessful, so
she was referred to us. Her body mass index was 38 kg/m2. Her medical history
showed consumption of Fluoxetine, Inderal, Haloperidol, Desipramine, and Artan,
which were prescribed by her previous psychologist.
2.2. Diagnostic measures
A neuro ophthalmologist observed swelling in her bilateral optic disc. Visual field
perimetry and visual acuity were in the normal range. Other general and neurological
examinations did not reveal any abnormalities. The laboratory analysis of her blood
showed hyperglycemia due to unmanaged diabetes mellitus (FBS: 180 mg/dl, normal
range: 70 100 mg/dl) and hyperprolactinemia (Prolactin: 98 ng/mL, normal range: 2
29 ng/ml). A lumbar puncture was performed to evaluate her cerebrospinal fluid
(CSF). Although she consumed a 250 mg tablet of Acetazolamide every eight hours,

Not many people know that women can murder others, let alone, be serial
murderers. What has been perceived generally in our societies is that women are
the creation of God who sacrifice for others and care selflessly. It is the males who
are seen as the abusers, the ones who murder, kill others for their selfish motives.
That is true but not completely. The majority of people who abuse, or kill are males.
