The Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi countdown begins with 20 days remaining. Over 7,000 athletes and 1,500 officials will participate, making it the largest Commonwealth Games ever. Important dates include teams checking into the athletes village starting September 23rd and the opening and closing ceremonies on October 3rd and 14th respectively. The Games will utilize state-of-the-art technology and facilities across 18 competition venues and support operations like broadcasting, security, medical care, anti-doping and transportation.
