CURTAINS
Definition
A curtain is a piece of cloth intended to block or
obscure light, or drafts, or water.
 A curtain is also the movable screen or drape in a
theatre that separates the stage from the auditorium
or that serves as a backdrop/background.
Curtains are often hung on the inside of a building's
windows to block the passage of light.
Necessity of Curtains
 Privacy: Privacy is good reason for using curtains. Many apartment buildings
and homes have corridors. It is essential to safeguard privacy and security.
Curtains prevent people from peeping into a house. They also offer a feeling
of comfort for not being disturbed.
 Cost effective: Window coverings can be expensive, particularly when you
need to place them on many windows. By choosing curtains expanse of
purchase is reduced. Curtains are affordable for any person’s budget.
 Fit any size of window: Some homes have large windows that other window
treatments will not work for. Curtains can be used on windows of any size,
even large windows like patio door windows and bay windows.
