Group projects. During my university studies, I had to undertake several group
projects. I was also involved in two marketing consultancy roles. I found myself
providing ideas for growth to successful nationwide companies, through
incorporating social media and providing opportunities for diversification into new
markets. This allowed me to build on my leadership skills and also provide me with
invaluable experience of working in this industry. I was also been able to gain a
wealth of experience and knowledge from undertaking several courses within the
Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde University.

Gretna Green Ltd
Constructing a social media strategy for Gretna Green Ltd ,
managing and maintaining high levels of social engagement
across all Social Media platforms for Gretna Green Ltd across
their Retail, Hospitality and Tourism operations. These included
Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Foursquare, Linkedin,
Pinterest and Hootsuite, often holding workshops to educate
colleagues on various Social Media tools. Working alongside
the company's external PR agency, communicating with them
on a daily basis in order to promote media coverage of the
company online and have been instrumental in executing
marketing opportunities for Gretna Green Ltd, both on a local
and international level. Experience has been gained in working
with their CRM system, assisting with the development of email
marketing campaigns. Experience was also gained in working
with the company's CMS system, where I have been working
alongside the company's Website Manager in updating and
retrieving content for the website and updating Meta tags and
Meta descriptions as well as continually developing existing
experience in using Google Analytics and Google Adwords
along with Adobe Fireworks.

Ordanance Survey maps. Experience was also gained in
working with CRM packages including Sage Act!, developing

Leading teams of volunteers in launching a number of
community projects around the Greater Glasgow area. Played
a critical role in promoting SIFE, liasing with several media
companies including Press and Radio. This involved writing
press releases and magazine articles, along with organising
multiple social and promotional events. Helped to establish
and maintain a successful online presence via Social Media.
