The Internet Key Exchange (IKE) protocol, described in RFC 2409, is a key management protocol standard which is used in conjunction with the IPsec standard. IPsec can be configured without IKE, but IKE enhances IPsec by providing additional features, flexibility, and ease of configuration for the IPsec standard.

Classification of secure encrypted relationaldata in cloud computingeSAT Journals
Abstract Due to the increasing popularity of cloud computing, organisations have the choice to outsource their large encrypted data
content along as well as data mining operations to cloud the environment. Outsourcing data to such a third party cloud
environment can compromise the data security as cloud operations and data mining tasks cannot carry out computations without
decrypting the data. Hence, already present privacy-preserving data mining techniques are not efficient to address the security
and confidentiality problems. In the base paper, a k-NN classification algorithm over secure data under a semi-honest model was
developed using a Paillier cryptosystem for public key encryption. The usage of public key cryptosystems has security issues
during data transfer in the cloud. In this proposed work, we focus on solving the k-NN problem over secure encrypted data by
proposing a privacy preserving k-nearest neighbour classification on encrypted information in the cloud using private key for
encryption and decryption based on the symmetric AES cryptographic algorithm under the secure multiparty computations for
creating a complete homomorphic encryption (CHE) scheme which results in the reduction of space requirement and processing
time. Also, we aim to apply the same PPk-NN classification over encrypted images. The proposed protocol hides the input query
and data access patterns of the users and also preserves the confidentiality of text and image data. Finally, we present a practical
analysis of the efficiency and security performance of our proposed protocol for application in a Life insurance firm where the
clients are classified according to their risk-level.

Design and implementation of proposed 320 bit RC6-cascaded encryption/decrypt...IJECEIAES
This paper attempts to build up a simple, strong and secure cryptographic algorithm. The result of such an attempt is “RC6-Cascade” which is 320-bits RC6 like block cipher. The key can be any length up to 256 bytes. It is a secret-key block cipher with precise characteristics of RC6 algorithm using another overall structure design. In RC6-Cascade, cascading of F-functions will be used instead of rounds. Moreover, the paper investigates a hardware design to efficiently implement the proposed RC6-Cascade block cipher core on field programmable gate array (FPGA). An efficient compact iterative architecture will be designed for the F-function of the above algorithm. The goal is to design a more secure algorithm and present a very fast encryption core for low cost and small size applications.

Advancing IoT Communication Security with TLS and DTLS v1.3Hannes Tschofenig
Missing communication security is a common vulnerability in Internet of Things deployments. Addressing this vulnerability is, in theory, relatively easy: with TLS and DTLS, two widely used security protocols are available. They are used to secure web and smart phone apps.
In this talk Hannes Tschofenig explains how the TLS/DTLS 1.3 protocols work and how they differ from previous versions. Hannes also speaks about the performance improvements and how they help in IoT deployments.
hardware implementation of aes encryption and decryption for low area & low p...Kumar Goud
Abstract-An AES algorithm is implemented on FPGA platform to improve the safety of data in transmission. AES algorithms can be implemented on FPGA in order to speed data processing and reduce time for key generating. We achieve higher performance by maintaining standard speed and reliability with low area and power. The 128 bit AES algorithm is implements on a FPGA using VHDL language with help of Xilinx tool.
Survey of Hybrid Encryption Algorithm for Mobile Communicationijsrd.com
To enhance the security of data transmission in Mobile communication, a hybrid encryption algorithm based on DES and RSA is proposed. The currently used encryption algorithm employed to protect the confidentiality of data during transport between two or more devices is a 128-bit symmetric block cipher. In the proposed hybrid encryption algorithm, DES algorithm is used for data transmission because of its higher efficiency in block encryption, encryption speed of DES algorithm is faster than RSA algorithm for long plaintext, and RSA algorithm distribute key safely and easily also RSA algorithm is used for the encryption of the key of the DES because of its management advantages in key cipher. Under the dual protection with the DES algorithm and the RSA algorithm, the data transmission in mobile communication system will be more secure. Meanwhile, it is clear that the procedure of the entire encryption is still simple and efficient. Digital abstract algorithm MD5 is adopted in this mechanism. Through comparing the digital signature which is transmitted by dispatcher and digital signature result of plaintext which is got by receiver through MD5 algorithm, data security can be guaranteed. This mechanism realizes the confidentiality, completeness, authentication and non- repudiation.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

In these relatively simpler applications of cryptography, asymmetric cryptography is difficult to justify on account of the computational and implementation complexities associated with asymmetric cryptography. Symmetric schemes make use of a single shared key known only between the two communicating hosts.
