 When plants of the same kind are grown and cultivated at one place
on a large scale, it is called a crop.
 For example, crop of wheat means that all the plants grown in a
field are that of wheat.

4. Can you grow a pea plant
in hot season?

5.  No, pea plant cannot be grown in hot season because it required cool temperature and
if you wish to grow in summers the plant will either die or will not give proper yield,
hence pea plants can only be sown in the rainy season as it’s a favourable time.

6.  We know that there are different types of crops like cereals, vegetables
and fruits. These crops can be classified on the basis of the season in
which they grow.
 The climatic conditions like temperature, humidity and rainfall vary
from one region to another. Accordingly, there is a rich variety of crops
grown in different parts of the country.
