The study focuses on the synthesis and antimicrobial evaluation of zinc nanoparticles (Zn NPs) using the bark extract of Cinnamomum zeylanicum. The research highlights the green synthesis process, confirming the formation of stable Zn NPs via spectroscopic analyses, and demonstrates their significant antibacterial and antifungal properties against microorganisms isolated from biofilms in drinking water pipelines. Additionally, the study contributes to eco-friendly nanoparticle production, presenting an innovative approach in material synthesis with potential applications in antimicrobial treatments.
