2. I have used text screens and credits in my trailer to explain and
announce certain things
The first two text screens work with the production to
create a comprehensive plot. These help to explain the story
and create suspense through the cliff-hanger style.
The next two screens work as credits to announce names of
the director and the main protagonist. The titles given in
these text screens give special significance to the people in
the production and those working behind the scenes.

3. These screens announce the names of two other
actors. This gives credit to them and signifies that
these are prominent actors throughout the whole
production.
This final credit screen is important in announcing
the release date, social media links, the distributor,
and the producer. I have used black and white
versions of the social media logos to match the style
of my production and the text screens.

4. After Effects
I edited my text
screens in After
Effects to give
them the glitch
effect I wanted.
To create this
effect, I firstly
downloaded a
video of a glitch
effect.
I created
multiple
compositions
with black
backgrounds for
each screen.
I then added the glitch effect to an
adjustment layer and linked each
to the text.
I added the relevant text to each
composition using an appropriate
font in a white colour.
I created copies of the text and
changed the colour curves of each
to make three layers, one red, one
green, and one blue.
I changed the positions of these so
they were slightly different and
used keyframes to dictate their
movements and create the final
glitch effect. I used the same effect
for all my text to keep my
production looking consistent.
