these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the

- 2. TYPES OF SOCIAL MEDIA Social media is widely used to market and advertise films because it reaches a wide audience and the audience is able to interact and give feedback. This is important to the producers so they can see what the audience are interested in. Some social media platforms include: Twitter Instagram Facebook Snapchat Pinterest Tumblr

- 4. TWITTER Twitter is a platform which allows its users to ‘tweet’ short statements. Interaction is easy and simple on this platform since other users can ‘retweet’ someone else's tweet to share it or can like it. Twitter has many simple features such as sharing photos and videos. Another feature on Twitter is the ability to construct simple polls to find out the audience’s interests. I used Twitter to share teaser photos of the trailer which I also shared on different platforms. I have used the same icon and banner across all of my social media platforms to keep my images consistent.
- 5. INSTAGRAM Instagram is a photo-based platform which is used to post photos. Users are able to like and share photos through messages and follow each other to be subscribed to their feed. One other feature of Instagram is the messaging feature which allows users to talk to each other privately. One issue with Instagram is that there is no way to have a chronological feed which means some posts get lost due to the strange ordering. I used Instagram to share teaser photos of the trailer which I also shared on different platforms. I have used the same icon and banner across all of my social media platforms to keep my images consistent. One feature unique to Instagram is the grid view of images on a profile. I have used this feature to my advantage by creating a banner using three separate images.
- 6. FACEBOOK Facebook is a platform largely based on connecting friends and family. There is a main feed which can be ordered to preference where all friends’ posts appear. Businesses and organisations use the pages feature to set up their own profile where they can share information easily. People can follow these pages which means that anything shared on that page will appear on their main feed. I used Facebook to share teaser photos of the trailer which I also shared on different platforms. I have used the same icon and banner across all of my social media platforms to keep my images consistent. One feature unique to Facebook is the video banners which play in the background once you press on the page.
