2. First Step
• Adding title graphics to a movie is really
easy. The first thing you need to do is get
your movie up, and find the clip that you
need to add the title to.
• To add titles you go to the top of your
screen, find the tool bar, on there you will
see a button that says title. Once you
select this you get a list that will have a
button called title still.
3. Step two
• Once you have selected title still, a new
screen will come up showing the scene
that you have a selected plus the font,
colour and movement tools.
• When you have this screen up, you can
add the text you want, like your title of
your film.
4. Step Three
• When you have written out the text you can
change the size or the font.
• The tools to do this are shown on the left hand
side of the screen and bellow the scene that you
have chosen.
• After you have finished your text, you can then
add it to your movie.
• To do this you exit out of the new screen and it
will take you back to premier where the video is.
5. Final Step
• When you get back to the movie, the titles will be
added onto the side of the movie where all the clips
usually are. It will be highlighted for you so that you
can find it and add it into the section where you want
it.
• After this you can add effects, like fading it into black
into your movie.
• You can also do all the same steps for the subtitles
such as the actors and the production company.
• For our film we added the production company first,
using effects like dissolve which dissolves into the
film, then the actors names and finally the films name.
We added sound to this also to make the title seem
more frightening.
