6. Different Types of Field
1. Numerical Data – numbers which have two or more fundamental
types: integers (+ or -) and float.
Integers are whole numbers
Float are numbers with decimals
Examples: 100, 56, -8.43
2. AutoNumber – it is a unique number that is automatically
created for each item added to a table
3. Currency – it is text saved as a link to another document using the
currency signs, commas, and decimal points.
Examples - $100, P250
7. 4. Hyperlink – it is data Date and Time Types – a date/time data
type contains the date and time values for the years 100 through
9999. It can be formatted in different ways including general,
long and medium date/time.
5. Binary Data – it is arbitrary data which can be an image, a
program or anything else
6. Lookup Wizard – it allows the usage of a value from one another
table or list using list box or combo box
7. Memo – it allows a large amount of text and numbers such as
notes or descriptions to be used in the field

that is linked in Access table
9. Text – it is a character filed that contains at most 255
characters it can short or long
10. Yes/No – it is used for fields that have an either/or value such
as Yes or No and True or False

because there tables are where you all your information is stored.
