Facebook
 Strength of shop: making a coffee shop around Rutgers Newark, NJIT is by
marketing college students, professionals who are in the area to come buy
freshly brewed coffee, and freshly baked goods.
 Weakness: If the expense of the shop is high then will not generate revenues.
The budget should be limited for shop.

 The objective of the firm is to serve good quality coffee and baked goods to our
customers and our employees will always have a smile on their faces when doing so
 We will advertise our business through social media, including Instagram, Twitter,
Snapchat, and Facebook.
 As a newly opened coffee shop, we need to make a name for ourselves in a way where
we can satisfy both the customers and our stakeholders.
 The project must be completed by the deadline under the set budget.
 While the business is being constructed, the products that will be served to the
customers must be developed and brought up to the stakeholders for approval.
 Once the business has been built, we will be open for business and the quality of both
our services and products will continue to change and upgrade based off the
constructive criticism of our customers.
 High level requirement was that project should be successful by our profit.
 We have the risk of whether the customers will like our coffee products or not.
 If we build this project and it fails, we spent all that money with no chance of making
any profit from our investment.
 If we don’t go through with building our coffee shop we do save the money but also if
our business perseveres, we’ve lost all that potential income and chance of profit.

 We want this project to be completed in approximately eight months from the
start of construction. This includes the exterior, interior, and the product
design.
 We want to use $300,000 for the whole project to be completed, but if more
is needed $50,000 will be used to cover whatever expense that exceeds the
outlined budget.

Lesson Learned
 This MIS 363 Course Project was both an enjoyable and a learning experience
for us.
 We started off rough not knowing what business to create for the project,
but after a while we got the hang out of it and persevered.
 In no time, we started coming up with great ideas to make our coffee shop
more enjoyable to consumers and extremely profitable.
 The one thing we would like to change is the amount of time that we were
given for both phase 1 and phase 2.
 For phase 1, we had about a week to complete it. Phase 2 was just uploaded
onto Moodle for us about a week ago, so basically a week prior to the due
date of the course project.
Recommendation
 Don’t wait until the last minute to do some of the required material –
everything got too scrambled as we tried to rush the completion of the
project.
 Understand the material before attempting to start it – Always ask the
professor any questions about the assignment to avoid any future confusion.
 Meet with group members every week prior to the due date – We should’ve
met with each other regularly so that we could update each other with what
work we have completed
