After many years working in the automotive sector with suppliers, assembly plants and automotive dealers in
which I have the opportunity to work with different persons, abilities and process. For this reason and many others such
as an honest and compromised work people, I would really like to be considered a strong candidate.
I have experience gained as a quality engineer for a plastic company at Inergy, in which I was in charge of the ramp up
of production, diversely test and measuring for the components made there, additional I was a Quality Engineer for the
machining process at Sealed Power, (Mahle Ramos Arizpe Mexico) in which was in charge of the PPAP, measuring,
process audits, scrap reduction, customer attendance and problem resolution among others responsibilities.
I was pleased to work as Project Engineer at Grupo Galo (Chevrolet dealers) that gave me the opportunity to interact
with the final customer of the automotive chain, at a dealership in the Service, Parts and Sales departments in which
was responsible to reduce parts inventory and develop and implement maximum and minimum additional to create a
competitive and self-orientated teams in the service department to improve service, price and process time in order to
improve customer satisfaction. All experience gained latter on was used at GM Mexico at the transmission plant as
Quality Engineer in which I was in charge of the quality system, quality audits, process audits, scrap reduction process,
PPAP, problem resolution, first time quality improve, and many successful projects such as sediment reduction of the
transmission, Internal parts per million reduction, multiple increase and decrease production rates maintaining the
quality, turn around and connection for the subassemblies to the main line to reduce inventory and quality issues, also
I was responsible of the installation, PPAP and production of the torque converter machining, assembly and testing
line, a new product for GM Ramos.
Much of my experience is transferable as Customer Satisfaction Engineer which is one position that I have at GM
Ramos Arizpe, attending three transmission plants and all their Vehicle assembly plant customers. In this assignation
I developed the final customer voice to the plant, warranties board as a fast response process, warranty audits and
testing, supplier relationships for a common goal, and leading the remanufacturing of the transmission for the Mexico
market, then I was attending the responsibilities of Quality Transmission Coordinator position, that includes as
responsibilities the quality assurance input of the incoming material, the different machining and assembly process for
the 6T70 transmission and for the 4ET50 Electric Transmission, providing training and support to Quality Engineers,
team members and support the Manufacturing and Operational Areas, with the objective to build products within
specifications and achieve final customer expectations. After a special assignment on the Engine plant with the launch
of the Engine Gen V to retrofit, repair and teardown engines for supplier and manufacturing leads me to be recognized
with the GM President’s Award. Then I was transferred to the Operation side as Group leader on the assembly line with
responsibilities to lead the work force and support departments to fulfill customer requirements within quality, quantity
and price. Finally I got moved to GM Silao in a different city being promoted as Operations Manager for the gears
department in the 6 Speed transmission plant, in which I have been working to reduce scrap rates and increase overall
productivity in the assigned area.
I do like to work in team, which I believe is the success of any company, also beyond what is mentioned in my resume
and into this letter I am persistent, patient, honest, hard worker, self-directed and goal oriented. Probably much of my
success has resulted for the work team with different people and different departments and the application of the
experience gained with different process and products. Given the opportunity, I am confident that my experience and
