antagonist something that clearly indicates they’re the villain of the film.
This allows the audience to quickly establish their role in the film.
Costumes put across non verbal messages which enhance the viewing
experience.

2. PROTAGONIST – ABBY WALTERS
As our protagonist is 17 year old, we want to dress her as any 17 year
old would dress.
We will have two sets of clothes, one for the desk scene, this will be in
comfy clothes you would wear at home. We will also have another set of
clothes for going out to meet their ‘friend’. She will be wearing dark
jeans and a dark top.

3. JAMES HARRISON
This character will be going with Abby to the park, he will
wear casual clothes. He will be wearing jeans and a jacket,
not much attention will be paid towards his outfit as he is
only a small role in the trailer.

4. ANTAGONIST – MASKED VILLAIN
We want our antagonist to be recognisable as the villain instantly.
From the first moment our villain is shown they will all be wearing
Boiler suits, boiler suits have been used in films such as Friday the
13th, boiler suits have a fear factor towards them which is what we
want our audience to feel about the antagonist. Our antagonists
will all be wearing pigeon masks as well, masks in horror films are
very common and some of the most successful horror films in the
world use them, e.g. Scream and Saw. This will hide their faces and
keep their identity a secret, this will intrigue the audience as they
will want to know who's under the mask, it will also make them feel
scared and uneasy as masks also have a sense of fear towards them.
