2. Copyright?
 Copyright refers to the legal right of the owner of
intellectual property. In simpler terms, copyright is the right
to copy. This means that the original creators of products
and anyone they give authorization to are the only ones
with the exclusive right to reproduce the work. (KENTON,
2020).

3. Copyright law originated in the United Kingdom
from a concept of common law; the Statute of Anne
1709. It became statutory with the passing of the
Copyright Act 1911. The current act is the Copyright,
Designs and Patents Act 1988 (The UK Copyright
Service, 2021).

4. Creative Commons?
Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that helps
overcome legal obstacles to the sharing of knowledge
and creativity to address the world's pressing challenges.
In order to achieve our mission, they: Develop
technology like CC Search that makes openly licensed
material easier to discover and use (Creative Commons,
n.d).

7. My personal reflection?
I think before the idea of Creative Commons was
developed, it was very difficult for people to modify,
share, and distribute creations because they had to seek
permission of authorities before doing something to
Copyright creations. Whether authorities are far away,
people must contact them before using their work.

8. With the help of creative commons licenses, now people
can use one’s work without permission as long as
creations are licensed under Creative Commons.

9. My preferred CC License?
Attribution Non-Commercial

10. I chose to prefer this license (this license suits my desire)
because I am a student and I want my work to be used by
other students and people who will need my creations as
long as they acknowledge my effort. But I also don’t like
people making business out of my own creations.
