2. Copyright
Every work as its owner, whether it can be music , songs, movies, books, poems, tools, picture,
articles , software, and much more. Copyright is a form of protection for works of the original
owner, and it is a type of intellectual property that all rights are reserved.
3. Fact about copyright
• Every work that is released from the producer is automatically copyright, whether
it is registered under copy right or not.
• It is important to acknowledge the creator or the owner of the works before
copying or reusing the work of copyright owners.
• There is no restriction of copyright owner for modification, or restriction for
commercial purposes. For example , there is no restriction of reselling a book or
duplicating the same books by the owner himself/herself.
• Some publisher allows free repackage and sell of content as long as the products
is licensed under the same copyright license, such as Wikipedia.
• Different countries have different copy right laws.
• International copyright agreement is to harmonise the intellectual properties.
4. How long does copyright last?
Copyright deals with duration is complex in different countries with the law of
copy right. In most countries, the term for the copyright of individuals extends
for the life of the author plus a minimum of years. Mostly the author’s life
plus 50 years, but in USA, the author’s life plus 70 years. After these
required years, the copyright work goes to the public domain and can be
used by anyone.

5. Creative commons
Creative Common (CC) is an internationally active non-profit
organisation that provides free licenses for creators to use when
making their work available to the public. These licenses help the
creator to give permission for others to use the work in advance
under certain conditions (Smartcopying).

8. Reflection
Copt right provide protection for a number of exclusive rights for
the copy right holder, and of which all right are reserved. There
are more restriction in copyright than creative commons, and such
includes;
Economic rights- which restrict the distribution, reproduction,
and adaptation of works.
Moral right- relating to interests, which are not financial or
monetary
Related right- to protect a person other than the authors who
are involved in the distribution of copyrighted works
Transfer of right- relating to assignment of rights, licensing, and
transfer of rights
All these right require the consultation of the author or the
copyright holder before using their work.
9. Creative commons
Creative commons provide free licensed for creator to make their work available
public. It does not provide allot of protection and it gives permission for others to
use their work under certain condition, which the permission could be:
The right to copy and redistribute works.
The right to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purposes, even
commercially.
However, all these right depend on the conditions which the creator of the work
sets.
10. The recommended CC licensed which I prefer is ‘’Attribution 4. 0 International
(CC BY- 4.0)
I choose these license because of the following reasons:
To allow anyone to reuse my work if they want to.
Most of the work in this slide have been taken from similar licensed.
To share the knowledge with charity and kindness.
Unlike copy right, all this license does not provide restriction for any means.
