The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

1. Name of artist
A magazine advert’s main
purpose is to promote and
market, therefore the artists
name will always be present.
Otherwise the audience will not
who they are.
Most likely to be in larger font
which is eye catching!
2. Name of album
Again the main purpose
of the advertisement is
to promote therefore
the album name will
always be present.
The font of this will be
similar to the font used
for the artists name
and it will be eye
catching
3. Main Image
Main image will most likely in
a similar style to the album (or
digipak)
This in turn also promotes the
album and reinforces the
artists identity using
continuity.
4. Release dates
An album date will always be
present on an advertisement for an
album as it’s purpose is to inform
the audience that there is a product
available for consumption.
Its size will be fairly large as we want
it to be seen by the audience.
5. Promotion lines linking to
single/album
This does not always occur but on some
occasions the promotion line ‘includes
the single…’ ‘featuring #1 hit…’ etc. are
used to make reference to the artists
latest single, this again further promotes
the artists and their products within the
music industry.
6. Record Label
A logo or small print featuring the record label
is always present within a magazine
advertisement, this is to clearly state as to
which major label the artist is signed to.
The size and clarity of this logo tends to fairly
small in comparison to other fonts on the
page.
7. Website and social media
links
The website for both the record label
and the artists will be present along
with social media links. This tells the
audience as to where they can find out
more about the artist and as to where
they can buy the product being
advertised.
8. Reviews
The advertisement is most likely to feature a quote
from a review of the album or a rating and it is most
likely to be from a reputable institution i.e. NME,
MTV
This shows to the audience as to how others
(including those in the music industry) view this
product, it will obviously be a positive review or
rating as they are trying to promote the product.
The size will be rather prominent on the page to
provide clarity.
