  • 5. TIDES Caused by the gravitational force of earth and moon. Attraction force between sun and earth. Differential attraction force between moon and earth. Lunar tides produced due to moon. Solar tides produced due to sun. Tidal range depends on earth axis.
  • 6. GENERATION OF POWER Depends on place.  Due to frequency matching.  E = xMg  Requires very high-amplitude tides. The simplest system for tidal energy is Ebb system.
