Introduction
• In this week, you are going to learn the
important aspects of Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) of Higher Education
Teachers. Teaching, Research and Extension
have equal importance in higher education.
The continuing professional development is
very important for teachers in higher
education in the present digital and advanced
world.
Description of the Modules
Module No. Description of the Module
1 The first module provides an introduction to the
course.
2 This module provides the need and importance of
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of
Higher Education Teachers.
3 This module concentrates to explain the different
aspects of CPD of Higher Education Teachers in
India.
4 The module tries to provide ICT initiatives for CPD
of Higher Education Teachers.
