Module 3 – Inclusive
Education
Inclusive education in the Kosovo context represents a change in the education system. It is
a separate philosophy focused on children who in some form or other have been excluded
from the educational system, or isolated within the system. In the last twenty years the
issue of the inclusion and integration of “excluded” or isolated children has begun to be
addressed in two main aspects. The first as a humanitarian issue, and the second as a legal
obligation based on international conventions on children’s and human rights in general.

Module 5 – Teacher Guide to the
Use of Portable Devices in the
Classroom
To succeed in the modern world, today’s students need to be highly competent in the use of technology. In Kosovo
there have been a number of initiatives to improve the computer and informational literacy of students, the most
recent of which is the Classrooms of the Future, from the British Council. This scheme seeks to embed computer
literacy for students in Basic Education from Grade 6 onwards by teaching coding and programming skills. The skills
that students will gain through this programme will undoubtedly better prepare them for a future either in the
world of work or in higher education.
